width: 391px; height: 525px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_cZmCiQntZo4/Seya4YNDkfI/AAAAAAAAAAU/lqoVJtcX1uQ/s400/File.gif" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5326802752633016818" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">ArtTrail</span> and <span style="font-weight: bold;">Cork Film Centre</span> are presenting a video-art trail this week in five Cork City pubs.<br /><br />The venues are: <span style="font-weight: bold;">Bradley's</span>, Barrack St., <span style="font-weight: bold;">Tom Barry's</span>, Barrack St., <span style="font-weight: bold;">LV's</span>, MacCurtain St., <span style="font-weight: bold;">Henchy's</span>, St. Luke's Cross. and <span style="font-weight: bold;">The Roundy, </span><span>Castle St.</span><span style="font-weight: bold;">,</span> with a launch/preview in <span style="font-weight: bold;">The Roundy</span> at 8 p.m. on Wednesday 22nd.<br /><br />A different selection of works will be shown on loop in each venue, between 6pm and 8pm on <span style="font-weight: bold;">Thursday 23rd</span>, <span style="font-weight: bold;">Friday 24th</span> and <span style="font-weight: bold;">Saturday 25th</span> (times in some venues vary - Henchy's will only run from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Thursday, and 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. on Friday night).<br /><br />This is the first in a series of research events by <a href="http://www.arttrail.ie/">ArtTrail</a> in 2009 : each will focus on a different artform or issue, and ask both artists and audience about their interest and involvement with that artform or issue.<br /><br />The programming of <span style="font-style: italic;">V For Video </span>draws on <a href="http://www.corkfilmcentre.com/">Cork Film Centre</a>'s long established and widely recognised support of and engagement with video art.<br /><br /><span style="font-style: italic;">V for Video </span>will launch upstairs at <span style="font-weight: bold;">The Roundy</span> on Wednesday 22nd April from 8pm, with a preview of all works.
